Virginia Frankovich, ARtH
I am a creative arts therapist, multidisciplinary artist, and community facilitator based in Auckland. I hold professional registration with the Australia, New Zealand and Asia Creative Arts Therapy Association (ANZACATA).
My Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Drama from the University of Auckland deepened my interest in the transformative power of the arts, which I explored further through theatre training at the John Bolton Theatre School and L’École Philippe Gaulier. After living in London for several years I returned to Auckland, where I established myself as a theatremaker, directing independent shows that toured internationally as well as working with professional theatre companies such as Silo Theatre and Auckland Theatre Company.
I later completed my Postgraduate Diploma and Masters of Arts in Creative Arts Therapy (Clinical), merging my passion for performative expression with my curiosity in psychology.
I was awarded the Kate Edger Master of Education Award and the ANZACATA Award for Academic Achievement in 2024, followed by the Whitecliffe College Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2025.
