Virginia Frankovich, ARtH

I am a creative arts therapist, multidisciplinary artist, and community facilitator based in Auckland. I hold professional registration with the Australia, New Zealand and Asia Creative Arts Therapy Association (ANZACATA).

I began my academic journey with undergraduate studies in Psychology and Drama at the University of Auckland, before deepening my passion for theatre by training at the John Bolton Theatre School and L’École Philippe Gaulier. Upon returning to Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, I established myself as a theatremaker, directing independent shows that toured internationally as well as working with professional theatre companies such as Silo Theatre and Auckland Theatre Company.

I later completed my Postgraduate Diploma and Masters in Creative Arts Therapy (Clinical), merging my passion for performative expression with my curiosity in psychology.

In 2025 I was the recipient of the Whitecliffe College Award for Outstanding Achievement. In 2024, I was the recipient of both The Kate Edger Master of Education Award and the ANZACATA Award for Academic Achievement.
